We are pleased to announce that we have updated our Code of Business
Practices to better address current and emerging marketplace issues and
we have also developed a unique, summarized set of eight business
"Standards for Trust."
We believe the Standards for Trust are easy to understand, and will
help consumers find trustworthy businesses like yours by showcasing
what it means and what it takes to be a BBB Accredited Business in
today's dynamic marketplace.
Here's a short video to see how the entire BBB system will be
promoting the new Standards for Trust and your BBB Accreditation in
2009.
The Code of Business Practices and Standards for Trust form the
foundation for BBB Accreditation and will apply to each of the more
than 400,000 businesses accredited by the BBBs serving communities
across North America.
