BBB Will Present to your Group
The mission of the BBB is to promote and foster the highest ethical relationship between businesses and the public through voluntary self-regulation, consumer and business education, and service excellence.
As part of our consumer education mission, we would be pleased to send a member of our professional staff to speak to your organization. We are happy to prepare presentations for:
· Business and civic organizations
· Senior citizens’ groups
· High Schools
· Adult education classes
· Church groups
· And other local organizations
We can present one of our popular topics or prepare something of particular interest to your group that relates to the BBB’s work. Presentations can be given as a speech, classroom instruction, or in a format that works for your group. Topics include:
· The BBB in New Century
· Scams and Fraud (at home, work and the Internet)
· Fraud Prevention for Senior Citizens
· Charities: Give, But Give Wisely
· Other topics are available upon request
Presentations usually last at least 30 minutes and may be followed with a questions and answers session. Requests for longer presentations and luncheon keynote remarks are also welcome. There is no charge for this service. However, we ask that you request a speaker at least one month in advance.
We appreciate requests from the community to address issues of concerns to seniors and students, those newcomers to marketplace, or those on fixed incomes to promote the use of good buying practices. For more information on having a representative speak to your group or organization please contact (Fort Wayne) firstname.lastname@example.org, (Osceola) email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org or (Merrillville) email@example.com.
